September 27 - 29, 2022 - Ploen Cousins Reunion (8th event after 2 years of the pandemic)

This year the cousins met at Las Vegas to see a couple of shows. On the evening of the 28th, we went to the Titanic Exhibition at the Luxor Hotel. It was an impressive exhibition. We took this picture on the recreation of the Grand Staircase. There were many artifacts recovered from the ship including many dishes, glasses, and bottles. One of the navigational compasses was on display too. An actual piece of the titanic weighing about 15 tons from the starboard side was a piece that bordered on two state rooms and the outside of the ship.

On the evening of the 29th, we saw the Blue Man Group, also at the Luxor. These were 3 very talented men that displayed great ability to play percussion type items with great speed and accuracy. They also had a few entertaining skits. A show well worth the price of admission.

November 16, 2019 - Ruth Ann and David's 45th Anniversary

Instead of running out of town to places like Las Vegas or Laughlin, NV, we decided that the ECC Ordchestra Concert deserved our attention. Many thanks to Karen Case, a person who knows her way around a camera and taking photos, for taking some very nice pictures with my phone.

September 28, 2019 - Ploen Cousins Reunion (7th Annual)

August 4, 2018 - Ploen Cousins Reunion (6th Annual)

September 16, 2017 - Ploen Cousins Reunion (5th Annual)

We took the lunch cruise on Lake Mead that day. From the left, there's Ruth Ann Ploen, Jo Ann (Ploen) Reese, and Dan Reese. Standing at the bar is Ron Grassl. On the side of the table, starting from the back is Carol (Ploen) Grassl, Karen (Ploen) Kirchner and George Kirchner. Kathy (Ploen) Kirchner and Jim Kirchner had to depart for home before this outing.

June 3, 2017 - Darry and Ashley get married!

Darryl and Ashley were married in Clovis, which is near Fresno. Ruth Ann and I, along with the Reese family, the Grassl Family, the Fort Family, and Dale Ploen, attended the wedding. Mike St. Vincent was there too as one of the groomsmen. That's Dale in the background.

Rae Ann and Patrick were married at a chapel inside of Texas Station in Las Vegas. The Reese family did a wonderful job of hosting the reception at their house.
